POLYBACK BACKER

Manufacturing steps :

Very similar to the phenolic backer, this product is made by applying a polyback to the back of the veneer (no need to have 10 mils paperback). After that, the veneer is flexed to soften the wood, then sanded and cut to the dimensions needed.

Available sizes :

4×8 to 4×12 and WOW!!! (5×8 to 5×12) and cut to size.

Thicknesses :

0.035 to 0.040 thousandth of an inch.

Usage :

This product, available for several years now, offers the same advantages as the phenolic backer but at a lower cost. It’s less fragile and easier to use, which is what our customers prefer.

Try it and you will like it. You have to test it first in order to be sure of good results.
