Several years ago, another product appeared…reconstituted veneer. It’s becoming very popular because it offers a lot of advantages that natural wood doesn’t. This wood, also known as engineered wood, is obtained from real inexpensive wood species that are highly regenerative. It is sliced, bleached and stained.
The veneer sheets are usually 27 inches wide and 11 feet long, glued to one another and mixed with different colors, following a special recipe to imitate the wood needed until it obtains a thick solid wood block (27 x 27 inches x 11 feet).
After this, the solid block is pressed in a press containing irregular plates and sliced at different angles. This recreates different aspects of natural wood but with the possibility of making thousands of similar sheets in color and grain.
This method is a huge advantage when you have a major job that needs a lot of similar veneer sheets, such as kitchen cabinets, furniture, speakers and so on.
We have a large variety of veneer at your disposal, more than 30 species with different cuts that meet the needs of everyone.
ATTENTION !!!! IMPORTANT !!!!
Because reconstituted veneer is made of dyed wood, its color is more susceptible to fading in sunlight. You can also have this situation with natural colored veneers, so to minimize this effect, we highly recommend using UV protection finished products.
